Hi I’m Simone Parker from Ma Belle Allure. I am so excited to style some looks for your curves in this video. If you are a pear or triangle body shape the secret to styling looks is to try and balance your proportions. If you love colour, wear it on your smaller upper body like in this Kaftan inspired top from SFH Designs in Brisbane. The colours in your top, draws the eye away from your bottom and thighs. The silk content in the fabric ensures it falls beautifully over your curves. The embellishments around the neckline and the ¾ sleeves are perfect for the pear or triangle body shape as it focuses attention on your upper body. Wearing a slim fitting black midi skirt and black top balances the fullness of the kaftan. The length of this top is also very flattering for your body shape because it finishes lower than your widest area. Finally, adding a nude heel to elongate your leg and a quirky tassel and pompom clutch completes the look.

This fabulous swing coat from Soubret Pink in Brisbane also looks fabulous on a pear or triangle body shape. For Renee, to balance the fullness of the coat I have styled her in a great pair of Ponti Pants and a black heel. The thicker stretch fabric in these pants also from Soubret Pink fit nicely over your wider thighs and bottom while also fitting your waist. Wearing a black top under the coat once again gives you a flattering silhouette. A stunning pair or crystal drop earrings and this look can take you from day to evening.
