Sneakers | Ma Belle Allure | DBS Menswear
Hello, I’m Simone Parker from Ma Belle Allure. My passion is to style women in the latest trends but to style those trends for your body. So I am extra excited to do a shoot for you on how to style your man. Most men have a suit in their wardrobe, whether they got it for a school formal, a wedding or a job interview, but for some men that is where it stays – in their wardrobe! So ladies with a few clever styling tricks you can ensure your man gets a lot of wear out of his suit, and both of you can step out in style!!!

2015 was really the start of the sneaker trend – now they are mainstream, out of the gym or skate park and into clubs, restaurants and even the work environments. Our feet are thanking us for adopting this trend because of the comfort and so is our hip pocket because of the versatility of the “kick”.

The secret to making this look work is to keep it simple. Team your man’s suit, with a white t-shirt which can be worn either tucked in or loose. Because we are going for a casual effortless look wear the t-shirt out then there is no need to wear a belt. Next add a white sneaker. I have chosen a leather high top converse for Alex from DBS Menswear in Wynnum. Don’t tie the laces all the way up, this way you can wear the tongue over the leg of the trousers, which contrasts the slim fit or the suit. By teaming only two items with your man’s suit, you have created a casual on trend look for your man – one that he will feel comfortable in.

For this look, I sourced the t-shirt and kicks from DBS Menswear in Wynnum. A big thank you to Peter for his help and professionalism. If you live in Brisbane, it is worth the trip to DBS Menswear for great service and a wide range of menswear from boardshorts, imported European suits, shoes and accessories and formal hire. They even stock boyswear.
