Fashion Inspiration for the Party Season LATEST NEWS Tips and Tricks Videos December 27, 2018December 30, 20180 To help you choose just the right outfit for the party season, here is some fashion inspiration straight off the runways of Europe. Let's face it, the right outfit can make you feel amazing. When you look great, you exude confidence and everyone notices. So here are my top 5 Fashion Trends for this year's party season. The 1980's power pant suit has undergone a revamp. Choose one that is glossy or dress it up with shiny metallic accessories and heels. Animal print, especially leopard or zebra is back in a big way. If this top-to-toe zebra sequin dress from Halpern (UK) is a little OTT you can opt for an animal trimmed slip dress, clash with a double dose of animal print or add leopard or zebra print heels and clutch. Sequins can be worn all year round. However, sequins remain one of our favourites for the festive season. This year, you can sparkle your way through any party in a striking silver sequin dress. You can also add a touch of sparkle to any outfit by adding party worthy accessories. The roaring '20s fringed dresses are back this party season, but they have been given a luxe makeover. Gracing the catwalks of Gucci to Givenchy, fringing has become both elegant and festive. Seen in the latest collections from Simone Roch, Ralph and Russo, Chanel, Fendi and other major labels, metallic or glossy fabrics were featured prominently. Grab a little inspiration from these collections and choose something shimmery and metallic. What will you choose this party season? Ralph & Russo AW18 LATEST NEWS Videos September 15, 2018September 15, 20180 Ralph & Russo is a high fashion house that specialises in haute couture and ready-to-wear clothes, luxury goods, and fashion accessories. It is a privately held company established in 2010 and owned by Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo. And the best part is they are both Australians!!! Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo’s couture label is the only British design house to have joined the French Chambre Syndicale, and is known for dressing royals and celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Beyoncé. Tamara Ralph is the fourth generation in her family to work in couture and fashion design. After graduating from the Whitehouse Institute of Design in Melbourne, Australia, Ralph travelled to London in hopes of breaking into the fashion industry. After a chance meeting with Michael Russo, an Australian banker working in London, the duo launched Ralph & Russo in 2006. The couple’s business has been profitable since its inception and filled a gap in the market in London, a highly affluent fashion hub without a local couture provider. To preserve the brand’s exclusivity, Ralph & Russo sells only one version of each garment per country. In 2013, the couple were the only representatives from the fashion industry on Forbes’ annual list of the 40 most successful people under 40. In 2014, Ralph & Russo was the first British brand to show at Paris Couture Week, and since became the first British couture house to join the French Chambre Syndicale. Today, the company has offices in Paris and London, and a roster of more than 600 clients.

FAR, whose slogan is Friends not Food, is a place of refuge for animals that have been freed from abusive situations and factory farms. Stage one of the collaboration started back in May with a photo shoot at the Farm in Dayboro which also brought together some very well known Vegans and FAR supporters such as Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Emma Dean; James Aspey a public speaker whose goal is to increase peace through education, encouragement and inspiration; Billy Simmonds an entrepreneur, martial artist, bodybuilder, performer and winner of the 2009 INBA Mr Universe title, most notably, an advocate for the ethical treatment of animals, for human health, and the environment, as well as LeanGreenie - Stacey Parish, Online Vegan Coach; Gemma Winchester founder of Vegoutt, well known Chef Alejandro Cancino and Moo Free Burger founders and Charlie’s Group Michael and Johnny. From the images taken back in May, Carla created some impressive artworks. 60 Second Makeover | Curves – Night Out | Ma Belle Allure LATEST NEWS Videos May 25, 20170 60 Second Makeover - Curves Night Out This is the next in our Curves 60 Second Makeovers. We have kept the same denim shirt dress but styled it with a great pair of leggings and a silky top to create some serious night out style. I've keep the silky top and leggings the same colour as this creates a smooth silhouette that you can work with. Next I've added this versatile denim shirt dress but left it open to create a kimono effect. The overall look is flatter, young and flirty - perfect for a night out. Would you love a 60 second makeover – including hair, makeup and outfit!!!!! Ok to be truthful….the process takes a little longer than 60 seconds but not when you film the entire thing and then upload it on time-lapse!!! Sounds amazing?? Well it is!! We filmed our first time-lapse makeover videos recently at The Video Box in Brisbane with hair and makeup artist Keeley-Shae. Our first makeover “guinea pig” was Cara Gilligan a familiar face to all our Ma Belle Allure subscribers and followers. I wanted to show you a Spring 2017 fashion trend coming through from New York so who better to choose for this than Cara. Filming actually took a little over an hour per makeover. Thanks to the “wonders of television” and the skills of Sarah Robinson from The Video Box the footage was compressed to about 60 seconds!! There is an enormous amount of work that goes on behind the camera to ensure we capture just the shot and feel for the shoot. 60 Second Makeover SS 2017 Fashion Trend #2 | 80’s Flash-Back | Ma Belle Allure LATEST NEWS Videos February 22, 2017February 5, 20170 60 Second Makeover Videos | 80's Flash-Back The second in our series features a major fashion trend for 2017 the "80's flash-back". Frills, shoulder pads, oversized denim jackets, wide waist-cinching belts and bright colours were all seen on the hottest runways this season. But before you start imagining teased hair and blue eye shadow - if you know how to interpret this trend, then it is anything but dated. For this video we focused on Frills. The secret to this trend is to incorporate its femininity with modern design elements like figure hugging cuts, asymmetric hemlines, exposed shoulders, full skirts and of course jeans. The dress featured is an original 80's dress by Events. Who said that clothes don't come back into fashion!! The frills, bright pink teamed with black, short hemline and sleek cut are all back in style. So you don't have to spend heaps of money to embrace this trend - check out your local Op Shops and see if you can pick up your own "80's flash-back". 60 Second Makeover Videos SS 2017 Fashion Trends #1 | Ma Belle Allure LATEST NEWS Videos January 25, 2017February 5, 20170 https://youtu.be/Dn9cRTUhJ9Y Here it is - our 60 Second Makeover Videos The first in our series features a major fashion trend for 2017 the "Bra Top". Ok so to wear it with out visible "muffin top" you need to have ample confidence, a tight tummy and a not-so ample cleavage but this classy style is motivation enough to get back to the gym :) :) If the fashion predictors have it right, next spring there will be numerous opportunities to ditch the crop and just wear the top. The catwalk teamed these tops with masculine trousers, jeans, long evening skirts and structured suits. Alexander Wang, Tory Burch, and Oscar de la Renta all featured the "Bra Top" on their runway shows. Luckily, we still have a little time to start working on our abs in preparation. The one featured is a cotton blend yellow and white gingham that is exclusive to Ma Belle Allure and is available POA. Cheers Simone Parker, Fashion Stylist and Founder of Ma Belle Allure
Fashion Styling from Desk to Dinner Glamour | Ma Belle Allure | Florence and Marabel Videos January 3, 2017January 18, 20170 I like to find versatile pieces that can transition from workwear to evening wear. I am sure most of us have pieces in our wardrobe that can do this, we just need a little help putting it all together. Thanks to: Boutique: Florence and Marabel @florenceandmarabel #florenceandmarabel Videographer: Sarah Robinson www.thevideobox.com.au Hair and Makeup: @keeleyshaemua, Facebook keeley-shae gilligan Models: Cara Gilligan, Gabrielle Witenden Stylist: Ma Belle Allure Video Transcript Corporate to Evening | Ma Belle Allure | Florence and Marabel Hello, I’m Simone Parker from Ma Belle Allure. Thanks for dropping by. I am so excited to bring you another styling video from my collaboration with Toowoomba boutique, Florence and Marabel. I like to find versatile pieces that can transition from workwear to evening wear. I am sure most of us have pieces in our wardrobe that can do this, we just need a little help putting it all together. For our first look we have chosen a flattering pair of slim fitting pants teamed with a silk blouse. We have tucked the blouse in to highlight Cara’s slim waist. To make this look work for the office, you can team these pieces with a pair of metallic lace up Oxfords. Metallics are huge at the moment and you will see more and more of it coming through. Next, add some low lustre timber beads and an oversized metallic bag to finish the look. An oversized metallic tote is the perfect accessory for this corporate look. To up-style this look for the evening, we have kept the same pants but opted for the same colour blouse and chosen one with a v neck and an eyelet tie detail around the neck. The blouse details make the look dressier. We’ve chosen a strappy rose gold and white heel which is feminine yet comfortable because of the block heel. Finally, we have added a rose gold clutch which ties the look together. For Gabby we have chosen a Little Black Dress with on trend lace neckline. For a corporate look we have teamed this gorgeous dress with a tailored black jacket. The eyelet, tie detail around the waist and low V of this jacket is flattering if you have a larger bust as it draws the eye to your slim waist. This jacket would also suit column, hourglass and triangle body shapes as the cut of the jacket effortlessly creates or accentuates curves. Teamed with a patent black heel and classic drop earrings creates a stylish corporate look. The same dress teamed with a fabulous black leather jacket transitions the look into evening. To tie in with the leather jacket we have teamed the dress with a black, studded, leather block heel. The silver studs on the heels tie in with the silver zips on the jacket and earrings. The height of the heel is perfect for dancing or standing at a cocktail party but is also stylish and on trend.
